Who we are

The Uganda Law Reform Commission was established in 1990 by the Uganda Law Reform Commission Act Cap 25. Prior to this enactment, law reform was the responsibility of the department of the law reform and law revision of the Ministry of Justice, which had been set up in 1975.
With the promulgation of the Constitution in 1995, the commission became a constitutional commission by virtue of article 248 of the constitution....(more)
