Preparation of the Law Reform Program 2018–2022

The Commission is at an advanced stage of preparing a law reform program 2018-2022. The program will contain the areas that require reform which and will be the focus of the Commission during the period. To establish these areas the Commission is consulting, among others, the public and private sector, academia, civil society, representative bodies and the business community. The Commission is now receiving proposals for law reform.

To facilitate the process of receiving the proposals, the Commission is providing a response form for persons who would like to make proposals for law reform. One may also submit a written memorandum via email to lawprogram@ulrc.go.ug  by post addressed to the Secretary of the Commission; or by delivering a hard copy addressed to the Secretary of the Commission at the Commission offices.

The deadline for submission of proposals is 15th July 2018.
