IACA Regional Summer ACademy-Eastern Africa, 2016 Training on anti-corruption

 Uganda Law Reform Commission staff recently participated in a training on anti-corruption which was organised by the International Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA) at Kabira Country Club Hotel, Kampala. The IACA regional Summer Academy was a seven day programme focusing on important anti-corruption issues in 15 countries in Eastern Africa and Burkina Faso.

The training covered anti-corruption issues from the perspectives of economics, law, political science, collective action and ethics. Lecturers and participants shared their anti-corruption expertise, as well as their practical regional knowledge on initiating strategies for compliance, identifying and assessing drawbacks and implementing frameworks which support good governance and transparency in Eastern Africa.
